| Data type | Explanation |
| Meter values | Measurements collected and reported by the charger’s built-in sensors. These values provide detailed information about current, voltage and energy flowing through the charger during a charging session. |
| Charge transaction data | Data generated during a charging transaction, including timestamps, energy, power, charge point, session status, and error messages. It also contains identifiers for the charger, vehicle and authorization method. |
| Vehicle data | Information collected by the charger from the electric vehicle via the vehicle’s internal systems and sensors. This provides an overview of the vehicle’s battery status and behavior during a planned trip. Typical data includes state of charge (SOC), temperature, energy consumption, location, planned route, mileage and time. |
| Statistics | Charging statistics collected from individual sessions. These signals include the number of charging sessions, total energy delivered to vehicles, average session duration and recurring error codes. |
Volumes of data: Erinion’s charging equipment offer various versions and customization options. The general estimated volume of the data generated in our connected products is highly dependent on the individual vehicle parameters (including but not limited to version, equipment, type of use, modifications, digital service bookings). Generally, volumes exposed are in the size of megabytes per message.
Continuous and real-time data generation: All connected products offered by Erinion can generate data continuously and in real time. With the service offering, data can be expected every minute while the chargers are online and transmitting data without issues. Possible issues include, but are not limited to, low network availability, telecom disturbances, incorrect configurations in the vehicle or connectivity issues within the OEM’s infrastructure.
Data storage location(s) and retention period(s): All connected products offered by Erinion store data locally for an indefinite term. For service provision purposes, some data will be sent to Erinion’s cloud backends and stored there for an indefinite term as well.
