Ahréns Åkeri AB, a leading transport and logistics company with a fleet of over 100 trucks operating across Northern Europe, is driving change with ambitious sustainability goals. To begin their transition to an electrified fleet while ensuring business continuity, Ahréns turned to Erinion for a seamless, end-to-end solution.
Transitioning a large fleet to electric transport comes with significant challenges, requiring deep expertise, practical experience, and scalable solutions. In addition to establishing top-tier charging infrastructure for their battery electric vehicles, Ahréns requested a semi-public charging setup with a unified payment solution to accommodate other haulage firms at their depot. Furthermore, the infrastructure had to include charging solutions for passenger vehicles to support Ahréns’ broader business operations.
From start, we ensured Ahréns’ operational needs and future ambitions were built into the solution. This enabled a tailored strategy without compromising on operational uptime. We took end-to-end responsibility for delivering a future-ready depot for both heavy vehicles and passenger cars, including a substation to support current operations as well as upcoming expansions with megawatt chargers, battery storage, and solar panels.
To support Ahréns’ semi-public offering, we implemented a customised payment solution for both AC and DC charging, giving full control over pricing and access.
Scania Logistics partnered with Erinion to develop a future-ready charging depot in Oskarshamn, supporting their electrified fleet operations and enabling semi-public charging.
